1. What you are buying
Devdha ("we") licenses the app named on your order (Rate Lookup, Attendance, or both) to the business named on that order ("you"), on the plan stated on the order: a one-time purchase or a monthly or yearly subscription.
The licence lets one business use the app for its own staff. It cannot be resold, rented out, shared with another business, or used to run a service for other businesses unless your order says so.
2. Fees and plans
One-time purchase: you pay once for a licence with no end date for the version supplied. Updates and support are as described on your order.
Subscription: you pay each month or year, as stated on your order. A subscription renews only when payment is received. If it is not renewed on time you get a grace period (shown in your licence, normally 7 days) in which everything keeps working and a reminder is shown to the owner.
Prices are those shown when you ordered, in Indian rupees, and GST is added where it applies.
3. If a subscription ends
After the grace period, staff can no longer use the app until it is renewed. Your data is not deleted: it is kept, the owner can still sign in, renew, and export the rate sheets and records, and everything returns when the subscription is renewed.
If a subscription stays unpaid for 90 days we may delete the hosted data after warning you by email. Self-hosted installations are not affected, because the data is on your own server.
4. Refunds and cancelling
A subscription can be cancelled at any time and stops at the end of the period already paid; we do not refund the current period.
Because a licence is issued as soon as you pay, one-time purchases are not refundable once the licence has been delivered, except where the law requires it or where the app does not do what we said it would and we cannot fix that within a reasonable time.
5. Your data and privacy
The rate lists, staff records and attendance records you enter belong to you. We use them only to run and support the app for you and never sell them or share them with anyone.
To check your licence and renewals the app contacts us and sends only: your client id, licence id, the address of your installation and the app version. It does not send your rates or your staff records.
The attendance product can record location, QR scans and phone identifiers for your employees. You are responsible for telling your employees what is collected and why, and for following the laws that apply to you, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India.
Staff sign-in codes are sent to the email addresses you enter. You are responsible for keeping those mailboxes and your passwords safe.
6. Using the app properly
Do not try to remove or bypass the licence check, copy the app for another business, or interfere with the service. Keep supplier details and prices only in the places the app provides for them, and give each person only the access they need.
7. Support and changes
Support is by email at devdhatechsolutions@gmail.com or phone +91 81047 17735 on working days. We may improve the app, and we will tell you before a change that removes something you rely on.
We may update these terms. When we do, you will be asked to accept the new version before you carry on.
8. Our responsibility
We take care in building and running the app, but we cannot promise it will never have faults or interruptions. Please check important prices before you quote them to a customer.
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost profit or indirect loss, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the period in which the problem happened.
9. Ending the licence
We may end a licence if these terms are broken in a serious way and not put right after a written warning. You may stop using the app at any time.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will be heard by the courts of Maharashtra, India.
